I listened to this book on my phone. I’ve had it on there for a long time and decided to give it a listen. Oliver does a really, really good job of capturing young adult thoughts and actions in this book. It is edgy-I don’t really like to listen to stuff like this, but I couldn’t help myself because of how she was able to get into the YA psyche. Seriously well done. If you want to know what goes on in the mind of a hormone-driven teen mind. This is for you…with warning. It is not swearing or sex free and it is over-the-top violent.

This book was very, very violent and disturbing
This book sort of gives you a headache listening to it. The reader is very forceful and…loud? I can’t explain it, but it is kind of hard to listen to because of that, but at the same time, I think it is necessary for this book. Listen if you want and you’ll see what I mean.
The reader was good for this particular book.
This book ended with a strong cliff hanger. Not a fan, but it sure makes me want to read the next one to find out what happens to this crazy girl.
Will I read the next book? Probably, but I hope the narrator doesn’t shout in it.
